In 2019, Metaz Tynec a.s. participated in major international exhibition Trako in Poland. An international trade fair focusing on rail transport.
The company implemented the project “Reducing emissions in the METAZ Týnec a.s. foundry” project registration number: CZ.05.2.32/0.0/0.0/15_008/0001064, specific objective 2.2 . Reducing emissions of stationary sources contributing to exposure of the population to above-the-limit concentrations of pollutants. This project is co-financed by the European Union - Cohesion Fund/European Regional Development Fund under Operational Programme Environment.
The total investment was over 150 million CZK. Within the approved investment, two new 3t melting furnaces were installed, bringing reducted energy consumption along with an increase in melting capacity and automated evaluation of the quality of individual batches. The investment also included the installation of new technological equipment in the molding shop and preparation of molding mixtures, including induced construction modifications, ventilation and energy installations.
In January 2018, the Helios Orange information system was launched. This modern system (foundry production planning system) ensures tender processes, contract management, production planning and management, product implementation monitoring, product quality control and the manufacturing process, as well as shipping and final product invoicing.
In 2018 through the “Employment” Operational Programme, the company provided further training for its employees, thus ensuring their professional growth throughout the entire company. The training program was in the areas of quality, production, technical preparation of production, business and controlling. These training activities were co-financed by the European Union within the POVEZ II project.
In 2018 METAZ Tynec a.s. participated in major international exhibition InnoTrans in Berlin. An international trade fair focusing on rail transport.
In 2016, the premises for the new machining shop were reconstructed. The hall was equipped with new machine tools:

- Tool presetter ZOLLER smile 400 - tool measuring and setting
- Stratasys Dimension SST 1200es 3D printer - X = 250; Y = 250; Z = 315mm
- Horizontal boring machine W100A - X = 1600; Y = 1120; Z = 1250mm; W = 900; table 1500x1500
- Operating mode - continuous operation; provision of tools for milling through the supplier's vending machine - TOOLBOX Grumant
In 2015 we succeeded in obtaining financial contributions for the training and professional development of the company's employees for 3 educational activities in the project „Vzdělávejte se pro růst ve Středočeském kraji II“ (Educate yourself for Growth in the Central Bohemian Region II” reg. no. CZ.1.04/1.1.00/B1.00010 in the educational programs “Ensuring the conclusiveness of the quality of foundry products according to customer requirements”, “Ensuring the conclusiveness of the process of foundry production according to customer requirements” and "Ensuring and improving employees in operation and maintenance of CNC machines and follow-up inspection, and conclusiveness of adherence to quality according to customer requirements”.
In April, METAZ Tynec a.s. launched new patter production technology - i.e. a 3D pattern "printer":
3D production system - DIMENSION SST 1200 es is designed for fast production of very precise patterns by direct printing of a 3D digital computer CAD pattern.
These patterns are characterized by high quality of the pattern material, strength, durability and excellent dimensional and thermal stability.
This new technology enables the company to achieve up to 80% time savings in pattern production.
METAZ Tynec a.s. took part in the major international exhibition Hannover Messe in Hannover on April 23-April 27, 2012 under the auspices of CzechTrade and the Czech Chamber of Commerce.
